The Lost Sheep by Larry Dyke
The Lost Sheep by Larry Dyke ~ "What do you think? If any man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go and search for the one that is straying?” MATTHEW 18:12 Larry Dyke portrays dramatically one of the most beloved parables in the Bible. Occasionally, the attraction of what is initially seen as beautiful, exciting or pleasant can place us unwittingly on a dangerous course. Just as this lost sheep has wound its way to the beauty of a cascading waterfall, yet it finds itself in a dark corner in unfamiliar terrain. How much better it would be to enjoy God’s bounty among its brothers and sisters in sunlit, green pastures! It is the faithful and loving shepherd who has left his other sheep in safety to seek this on who is lost. He will lead the way home. And, yes, if you count the sheep, there are 99 in the pasture! "In the same way your Father in heaven is not willing that any of these little ones should be lost.” MATTHEW 18:14
