The 15th at Augusta by Larry Dyke
The 15th at Augusta by Larry Dyke ~ The 15th is one of the most beautiful and challenging holes at Augusta. With water and sand traps to contend with, it is a difficult par 5. It is also a hole with a lot of history. Gene Sarazen was behind the leaders in the Masters as he approached the 15th. His first shot off the tee was good, but not particularly notable. However, his second shot (using a wood) landed on the green and holed out. He scored a double eagle on the 15th to win the Masters! Driven by his marvelous sense of humor, artist Larry Dyke has incorporated Sarazen's double eagle into this piece by hiding two eagles within it.
