Mountain Gate – Mt. Moran Giclee Art Prints by Brian Day

Brian Day Artist

Mount Moran (12,605 feet) is a mountain in Grand Teton National Park of western Wyoming, USA. The mountain is named for Thomas Moran, an American western frontier landscape artist. Mount Moran dominates the northern section of the Teton Range rising 6,000 feet above Jackson Lake, Wyoming.

Here is a majestic sunset cascading over the mountains with a regal elk and his herd close behind. He is getting ready to cross the "mountain gate" to head for greener pastures and a quiet nights rest!

Brian did a fantastic job of capturing the essence of a sunset against the mountains. If you've ever seen this scene live, you know the colors of the mountains come alive and only last a few seconds.
