Upper Frio by Bob Wygant
Bob Wygant enjoyed painting all parts of Texas and admits freely that the Frio (River) is one of his favorites. The rocky terrain and the sparkling water give the scene a great deal of textural interest. What cowboy wouldn't want to be there and pause for a few moments to take in the various colors of the water and the submerged rocky bottom. Those would be a painting in themselves. This print is from an edition size of only 95 in this series.
