Flurries by Phillip Philbeck
Philbeck is a master landscape artist who captures the magnificent scenery of his home state of North Carolina. In this image, a farm in Appalachia is wrapped in the first winter snow storm as the last rays of sunshine are extinguished. The old barn stands as a sentinel on the white carpet of the landscape. Filled to capacity with winter hay for the animals and protecting the farm equipment, the barn will be the shelter for these things until spring arrives. This print is from an edition size of only 250 in this series.
