| The Western Saloon came into
existence to fulfill a basic human need, which today is hard to imagine. It was a place to dispel the loneliness of a month on the range or longer in the back country. The Saloon was all things to all men who ventured in; a place to drink, to eat, to sleep, to gamble, to spend time with the fairer sex! From dance hall to bordello, the Western Saloon became as much a part of the old west as the cowboys themselves.
